Delete a section in a document

How to delete a section within a document

To delete a section:

  1. Click the ••• menu on the section.

  2. Choose Delete.

  3. Confirm in the drawer modal that opens.

Note: Deleted sections are not currently recoverable via the UI, so be careful. If you delete a section by accident and it existed the day before, contact our support team and we can recover it for you from our data backups.

Chapters

When you delete a chapter header section, you can choose to delete ONLY the chapter header section, or the chapter header section and ALL child text sections / policies. The confirmation dialog shows both options:

Read the dialog carefully and choose the option you want before confirming.
