If you've made changes and want to go back, here's how.

In a Policy

Within a policy (in your Policy Library), you can restore any previous version of the policy. To do so:

  • Open a policy's revision history via the clock icon in the policy's toolbar:

  • Choose "Revision History"

  • Click the version you want to view/restore

  • Click that version's vertical ••• menu, then choose "Restore this revision":

That's it!

One Section of a Draft Document

To clear out all of section's changes (compared to the latest published version in your Live document):

  • Click the ••• menu next to a section title

  • Choose "Version History"

  • Click the Revert button

  • Confirm by clicking Revert

Note: You can only revert back to the current Live content; you cannot revert back to any historical version. Let us know if you need to do this.

An Entire Document

Reverting an entire document will change the draft version to match the previously published version that you are reverting to.

  • Any sections that were deleted will be brought back.

  • Any changes to sections still in the document will be undone (permanently).

  • Any new sections that were made will be removed.

All current in-draft changes will be lost permanently.

Because this functionality is new and the feature massively changes a document, it's currently behind a support flag where you need to contact our support team to request it. We'll test it locally before proceeding to make sure it will work as expected. Here's how to submit your request.

Open your document's version history:

Hover your mouse over the version you want to revert to, then click the revert button:

If you want to go back to the previously published (Live) version (basically, clear out any changes you've made to the draft), choose the top version that's labeled with " - Current Version".
