Your Setup Checklist is the fastest way to get your Blissbook account ready. It walks you through the organization-wide settings that make everything else work - branding, your employee list, sign-in, and email - so you're not hunting for them one by one. Every task is optional, and you can publish a document before you finish any of them. The more you set up, the more you'll get out of Blissbook.
Where to find it
Open the Setup Checklist from the top left of your homepage. It shows your completion percentage, so you can see at a glance how much is left.
What's on the list
The checklist groups your setup tasks by the kind of help they need:
Viewing experience
Customize your Employee's Experience - your branding and how the handbook looks to employees.
Customize Email Branding - the look of the emails Blissbook sends on your behalf.
Technical setup
Synchronize your Employee List - connect an integration or upload your people so audiences stay current.
Setup Authentication - decide how people sign in, including single sign-on.
Set your Custom Domain - host your handbook on your own domain.
Email Domain - send notifications from your own sending domain.
These are organization-wide settings, so finishing them once sets them for every document in your account.
Work through a task
Open the ••• menu next to any task and click Start task to jump straight to that setting. Set it up, then come back to the checklist whenever you're ready - your progress is saved as you go.
Mark a task done, ignore it, or bring it back
Each task's ••• menu gives you a few options:
Mark as done - check it off yourself once it's set up.
Ignore this task - tuck away anything that doesn't apply to you. Ignored tasks count toward your completion percentage, so ignoring is a perfectly good way to finish.
Restore this task - bring back a task you marked done or ignored if you want to revisit it.
Note: A couple of tasks finish on their own. Set your Custom Domain and Email Domain are marked done automatically once Blissbook confirms they're working, so there's no manual Mark as done for those.
It's shared with your whole team
The Setup Checklist belongs to your organization, not just to you. When a teammate or collaborator finishes a task, it's checked off for everyone - so don't be surprised to see progress you didn't make yourself.
Need a hand? Add a collaborator
If a task is better suited to someone else - say, IT for single sign-on - click Add Collaborator to invite them to help. You can also invite people during the product tour, at the Get help from a Collaborator step.
You're all set
When every task is done or ignored, you'll reach 100% and see You're fully setup. That's your cue that your account is ready to go.
