You can copy or "clone" a document in Blissbook and it'll copy over all the sections and design assets to a new document. But wait! Before you do that, let's talk about a few other things you might want to do instead.
Are you creating a separate document because some of the content in the existing document needs to be slightly different for a specific group of people? Try personalized content instead.
Are you doing an audit and a round of updates for a big new version, or do you want to make big changes to the look and feel? You don't need a new document! You can edit your existing document draft without employees being able to see it. Just publish your updates when you're done. This will ensure all of your version history is retained within one document and will make it easier for you and employees to maintain and access it.
Doing something else? First, feel free to run your idea by us and we'll let you know if if it's the most efficient way to go.
If you're ready to go for it and clone a handbook, here's how:
On your Home page or in your Document Library, hover over the document you'd like to clone, then click the gray down-arrow button next to the gray Edit button. Choose "Clone" and follow the prompts from there.
That's it!
