If you license fonts through Adobe Fonts, you can connect it to Blissbook to use those fonts in your documents and policies.
Connecting is a one-time setup that applies to your whole organization. You'll need an Org Admin or Branding role in Blissbook.
Create a Web Project in Adobe Fonts
Sign in to fonts.adobe.com and add the fonts you want to use to a Web Project. Blissbook only sees fonts that live in a web project.
Click into the first font family you want to use, e.g. https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/sofia
Click the Add to Web Project button in the top right corner
Pick + Create a new project in the dropdown and name it "Blissbook"
Click the Create button
For additional fonts, add them to this "Blissbook" project (and click Save).
One project keeps everything in a single place and makes it obvious what the project is for, so nobody deletes it later.
Get your Web Project ID
Adobe gives every web project an embed code that looks like this:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://use.typekit.net/xyz9abc.css">
The ID is the short code at the end, xyz9abc in this example.
Copy the ID (or the whole embed code) to your clipboard.
To find it again later, log in to https://fonts.adobe.com, then go to Manage Fonts > Web Projects in the top right corner.
Add your Web Project to Blissbook
When logged in to Blissbook
Go to Viewing Experience (main nav under ORGANIZATION). If you don't see it, you aren't an Org or Branding Admin.
Click a Branding Profile to open it.
Switch to the Fonts tab.
Under Adobe Fonts, click the Install button.
Paste your project ID and click Save.
Blissbook reads your project right away and lists the fonts from the project.
Use your Adobe fonts
Your Adobe fonts now appear in every font picker under Typography. They'll show up alongside other in-use fonts and in the search results.
The font you choose renders everywhere your employees see that branding profile. That covers documents and policies, the audience dashboard, and PDF exports.
Note: Notification emails use the separate Email Font setting on the Email tab. Email clients are too inconsistent to render web fonts reliably, so Adobe fonts don't apply there.
Keep your fonts in sync
Blissbook keeps its own copy of your font list. When you add or remove fonts in your Adobe web project, click the Refresh Fonts button on the Fonts tab to pull the changes in.
If your fonts stop working
Blissbook flags a broken connection with an alert at the bottom of the main navigation, with a Fix It button that opens the Fonts tab of your default branding profile.
If Blissbook can't read your web project
This happens if the Adobe fonts web project is deleted or if your Adobe subscription lapses.
If the project doesn't exist, build a new project with the required fonts, choose replacement fonts for the fonts from your existing project, uninstall the existing project, and then install the connection to the new web project containing the needed fonts. The fonts from the old project that were using their replacement font will be restored.
If your Adobe subscription has lapsed, either restore it or choose replacement fonts and uninstall.
If the project still exists at fonts.adobe.com and your Adobe subscription is valid, then something else is going on. Contact our support team for assistance.
If an individual font is no longer available
If a font is disconnected from your web project, any text styled with it falls back to its replacement font, or sans serif if a replacement hasn't been chosen.
Sign in to fonts.adobe.com and add the disconnected font back to the "Blissbook" Web Project, then refresh the connection in Blissbook.
Alternatively, choose a replacement for the disconnected Adobe font in Blissbook.
Uninstall Adobe Fonts
On the Fonts tab, click Uninstall and confirm, and Blissbook forgets your web project.
Before you can uninstall, you must first replace any text styled with an Adobe font with another font. Hover over the font and click the Replace button. Don't forget to click Save in the top right when you're done.
Want a font to stay in your Blissbook account permanently? License it for self-hosting from the font foundry, then upload the font files under Custom Font Families. Those fonts live in Blissbook and never expire. Choose it as a replacement font for your Adobe font, then set
